ZATS Trading Platform offers our sell side members access to an array of alternative products and services not previously found in one location.

We understand the unique challenges that face our sell side members and the clients they serve and attempt to provide products and services that address those needs. ZATS Trading Platform is a completely neutral platform, we do not underwrite securities and we never compete with our members. ZATS Trading Platform structure works as a very robust referral service directing both issuers and investors towards our broker dealer and market making member counterparties. Below is a brief description of the products and services we provide for our sell side members.

Broker Dealers

In today’s demanding fiscal times, broker dealers are looking to decrease their operational costs in order to provide clients the best possible value. At the same time, brokers need to employ the latest technologies, products and services to create new value, attract new clients and retain existing clients.

Our Brokerage member accounts provide our broker dealer members the means to reduce their operational, brokerage and clearing costs while allowing them to access ZATS Trading Platform alternative markets worldwide with our private broker portals. ZATS Trading Platform private portals allow our broker dealer members the ability to help expand their business and to generate new profit margins without having to spend extra on IT, and clearing resources. Thus our broker dealer members can concentrate on marketing their services/products to their clients and leave the technology, brokerage and clearing services to ZATS Trading Platform. Using ZATS Trading Platform our broker dealer members can syndicate:

  • PIPEs (Private Investment in Public Equity)
  • IPO’s
  • Private Equity – issuance and secondary trading
  • Block trades of registered non NMS securities
  • Restricted stock and warrants
  • Rule 144a equity securities
  • APO’s (Alternative Public Offerings) – domestic and international issuers
  • Emerging markets private placements
  • Structured equity and debt securities

 Using our platform brokers can access a wider array of investors or use simply use ZATS Trading Platform offerings and deal flow as their own inventory for their sales force and clients. ZATS Trading Platform works as a form of referral service for our broker dealer members in our targeted products and services by directing both issuers, buy-side members and accredited individuals towards transactions listed on ZATS Trading Platform for sale.

The flexibility of ZATS Trading Platform allows broker dealers to offer their listings on an open basis if they want a wide distribution network in a syndicate or as a private closed market giving them complete control over who is allowed to access the offering such as their internal sales force or specific key clients. ZATS Trading Platform will create at no cost to its sell-side members their own private electronic password protected offering and trading platform where your clients and sales force can access proprietary listings or selected ZATS Trading Platform offerings, and use ZATS Trading Platform back office to process the transactions.

ZATS Trading Platform can also be used by its sell-side members as resource for underwriting transactions as ZATS Trading Platform will bring issuers looking to raise capital in various structures and seeking underwriters to bid on the specific transactions on ZATS Trading Platform Capital Wanted listings page.

 Using ZATS Trading Platform is cost effective as fees are charged as a percentage of the brokers overall banking or transaction fee and only paid when a transaction is completed. There are no membership fees and no fee to list securities on ZATS Trading Platform.  ZATS Trading Platform members can also be notified electronically when specific opportunities become available, thereby removing the need to constantly check the site.

Market Makers

ZATS Trading Platform offers market makers the opportunity to buy and sell securities in a marketplace that offers profitability rarely available in other more organized markets today. Restricted and illiquid public securities provide deep discounts versus their non restricted or more liquid counterpart, that because of your status as a market maker, creates hedging opportunities that enable the market maker to capture potentially significant spreads. ZATS Trading Platform market maker members can also use ZATS Trading Platform as an alternative liquidity source for block trading of non NMS registered stock, providing anonymous bids and offers of thinly traded stocks similar to other ATS dark pools without REG NMS challenges. Market makers can seek to buy and sell securities on a discreet basis thereby controlling the user groups who may view their order. ZATS Trading Platform can also serve as a referral source for public companies who may seek further market maker representation.
